Fun: Day 23: A Quit What You’re Doing Poem

Standard

Day 23: For today’s prompt, write a quit doing what you’re doing poem.  This could be about something you need to quit doing or that someone or something else should quit doing.  (source: poeticasides.org)

Effortless

I quit gardening
Just for this year
And maybe next
I don’t know
I am finding immense pleasure
In the view from my window
To see stubborn sunflowers
Arise from last year’s lushness
And this year’s nothingness.
